Autumn Mindfulness in Ruddington

You’re invited to discover mindfulness and the life changing MBCT course in a FREE taster session – which will be followed by a full eight-week course from Tuesday 21stSeptember.
It’s again being run in Ruddington by village resident Jakki Pritchard, who’s a listed mindfulness teacher. She says mindfulness is scientifically proven to reduce anxiety by 58% & stress by 40% (BeMindful) and that the MBCT course is as effective as anti-depressants for reducing depression, by over 50% (Oxford Mindfulness Centre).
“If you want to transform your relationship to your thoughts, emotions and moods so you can feel less stressed, less self-critical and more at peace long-term, this course could change your life” explains Jakki. “The taster session will be the perfect self-care hour, giving you rare time out, space to breathe and just be yourself in a welcoming, non-judgemental environment. Learn all about the course and have a play at mindfulness meditation”.
Both the taster session from6pm – 7pm on Tuesday 14th September and the 8-week MBCT course which follows fromTuesday 21stSeptember from 6pm – 7.45pm will be run in the calm surroundings of the Old Chapel at Ruddington’s Framework Knitters’ Museum.
