“Zumba” is an exercise fitness program created by Colombian dancer and choreographer Alberto “Beto” Perez during the 1990s. It involves dance and aerobic movements performed to energetic music. The choreography incorporates hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue and mambo – along with squats and lunges.
Ruddington residents are being invited along to Zumba Fitness Classes which take place on Wednesday evenings at St Peter’s Junior School.
Instructor Rosalie Nissan says: “Fitness has never been more fun – until now!!! The first class is only £2. All abilities are welcome. Zumba is a mixture of Latin rhythms as well as some well known tracks with easy to follow dance routines that will shake all the calories away! What are you waiting for?”
After your first class, subsequent sessions will be £4.50 each or 5 classes for £21. If you’re interested in going along, you can find out more by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by texting 07722 122 356. You can also make contact via Facebook >>HERE<<.
