Pilates is practiced to improve flexibility, build strength and develop control and endurance in the body. It puts emphasis on alignment, breathing, developing a strong core, and improving coordination and balance.
Until ‘lockdown’ Jodi Meehan – who has a Level 3 Diploma in Mat Pilates – was running weekly sessions every Tuesday morning in Ruddington Village Hall, along with other ‘face to face’ classes elsewhere on other days. Due to continuing COVID-19 restrictions, THIS block of classes will be run via Zoom – with Jodi offering FREE TRIALS to see if it’s for you, before you commit.
The fact that the classes listed on the poster below are now ‘virtual’ means you can pick whichever day and time suits you best. All you need to do is contact Jodi with your email address and she can send you a link to your chosen class.
Jodi says: “Please note that in my classes you will not be on camera as everyone has video off during the class, so you will only see me teaching. I offer 7 live classes a week with a mixture of Pilates, strength and conditioning and yoga stretches giving you a full body workout along with 5 minutes of relaxation at the end.”
She adds: “Please let me know if you have any questions at all, or if you would like to book a free trial.”
Prices start from just £5.00 if paying ahead for the term. You will be sent the full details when you enquire.
