Rushcliffe Country Park “Move And Mingle” events are part of Rushcliffe Health Walks.
Due to Coronavirus COVID-19, from Wednesday 18th March 2020 until at least 27th May all Ramblers Walking for Health activities are being suspended – including these group walks.
Organisers say: “Our top priority is protecting the health of our schemes, partners, walkers, volunteers and all those who take part in Ramblers Walking for Health. We also want to help supress the spread of the covid19 virus.“
We’ll update you here on their return.
These are a guided health walks every Wednesday at 10.30am, starting at the education centre in the Country Park. The route varies from week to week around the park, usually no longer than 2 miles. The walk leader will adapt the route to suit the walkers – with a choice of walks to match your fitness and level of ability: a 30 minute shorter walk around the lake: or a longer walk of up to an hour.
ALSO: Friends of RCP coffee mornings take place from 10am until 12.00 noon on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month. So you’re invited to “Linger By The Lake” for refreshments after the walk on these days.
