GCRN Diesel Gala 2019

GCRN’sannual diesel event provides visitors to Ruddington the opportunity to sample visiting locomotives along with theirown diesel locomotive collection- together with the autumn scenery and a landscape that gives a truly picturesque backdrop at this time of year.
Train buffs may wish to know it will feature 20154, Class 31 – D5830, 47292, 56097 (subject to completion of maintenance) along with visiting Class 33 – 33053 (courtesy of UKRail) and also 20311, 20314 & 37612courtesy of HNRC.That means 4 visiting locos and up to 4 from the home fleet making up to 8 locos per day along with a possible appearance from GCRN’s resident class 08.
Organisers promise: “Buffet 125 on the Mk3 set will be serving hot & cold drinks, snacks and beers and ‘Bufferbeam’ on the concourse selling Polo Shirts, Sweatshirts, Mugs, Magnets and much more featuring all your favourite forms of Diesel Traction.”
Day tickets will be priced at £16.00 for Adults & £8.00 for Children over 5 with a Family of 4 priced at £40.00.(No concessions available/HRA not applicable).
