Pilates is practiced to improve flexibility, build strength and develop control and endurance in the body. It puts emphasis on alignment, breathing, developing a strong core, and improving coordination and balance. Until ‘lockdown’ Jodi Meehan – who has a Level 3 Diploma in Mat Pilates – was running weekly sessions every Tuesday morning in Ruddington Village Hall, along with other ‘face to face’ classes elsewhere on other days. Due to continuing COVID-19 restrictions, this fundraiser will be run via Zoom.
