Rushcliffe 10k & Running Festival 2020 @ Rushcliffe Country Park
Apr 5 @ 9:30 am

This is the annual running event at Rushcliffe Country Park, postponed from March 1st 2020 due to a waterlogged circuit, which can accommodate the whole family, you again have the option to run a 10k Race, 5k Race, Fun Run or Toddler Dash.

Entries for the previous date will automatically be carried forward to today unless you’ve informed organisers you’d like a different option in advance (by Friday 6th March 2020).

New for 2020 is be the ability to choose whether you take part in the morning or afternoon, as the whole event schedule will be repeated for those who like a more relaxing start to the day.

You can start the Fun Run at either 8.45am or 11.45am. This is a 2.4km course around the park which is a good option for slightly older children or those new to running.

Following consultation with participants, the council, the park and local landowners, the decision has been made to return to a two lap 10K course in 2020. The morning 10K sets off at 09:30am. The early afternoon 10k sets off at 12:30p.

Alternatively, sign up for a single lap 5K in the beautiful setting of the park which sets off at 09:30am or 12:30pm. Junior entry (12-15 years of age) is also available for a discounted rate. Please note that the 5k runners will be part of the 10k field because it is no longer run a different time slot.

The Toddler Dash also returns for 2020. This is aimed at those with the littlest legs who want to join in the fun. They will complete a single dash from the end of the finish straight back under the finish gantry. All children will receive a medal for taking part to mark their achievement. Parents can run with their child without having to pay or register. The morning event will start at 09:10am and
the early afternoon event at 12:10pm.

Subject to availabilty, YOU CAN SIGN UP NOW >>HERE<<.

The event is organised by Perfect Motion Sports Marketing for Rushcliffe Borough Council in partnership with Rushcliffe Athletics Club whilst the Nottingham Hospitals Charity has been chosen as the Rushcliffe 10K event charity partner. This organisation supports patient care at our local hospitals. Spectators are invited to turn up to offer vocal encouragement to participants – and can support the charity >>HERE<<.

Please note that, unfortunately, this event means the bus stop at Rushcliffe Country Park (Mere Way) has to be withdrawn from approximately 08:00 until 14:00. During this period NCT’s Green 10C will be unable to serve the Country Park and all journeys will run as Green 10 and terminate at Ruddington Green instead.
