Congratulations to Ruddington Butchers – which today celebrates five years of trading! Stewart White and Shane Ginty opened their new business in the historic Oliver’s shop in Church Street on the 24th of March 2011 – after it had lain empty for seven months. Since then they’ve completely refurbished the premises, introduced many new ranges and proved there’s still a demand for a dedicated high quality butchers’ in our village.
When Stewart moved away to St Helen’s just over a year ago Shane (pictured) took over the business and continues to run it with a little help from his wife Nicola. Shane celebrated the shop’s fifth birthday with free wine and nibbles to thank all his customers for their continued support.
