Ruddington drivers who usually use Asher Lane to gain access to their homes – or get to the back entrance of Rushcliffe Country Park – are being advised of an unscheduled road closure which could last for a couple of days.
A burst water main overnight means the road was shut this morning (Wednesday 12th April) from its junction with Musters Road to its junction with Distillery Street for emergency Severn Trent Water repairs which could take until 4.00pm tomorrow (Thursday 13th April).*
In the meantime, motorists are being diverted along Distillery Street and Musters Road.
The company apologises for the inconvenience to residents and visitors.

The water leak has now been repaired and the road reopened to traffic.
