DESCRIPTION:Come along to a ‘Celebration of Christmas‘ and join Ruddington and District Choral Society at 7.30pm on Saturday 9th December in St Peter’s Church.\nRDCS will be joined by the Ruddington Chamber Ensemble, along with invited soloists. Tickets, priced £15 including refreshments, are available from Perkins Hardware on High Street, from choir members, on 07590 311 992, or you can buy on the evening at the door (subject to availability).\nThe Christmas music programme is:\nPerformance of GF Handel’s Messiah (Part 1) and\nExtracts from JS Bach’s Christmas Oratorio (Parts 1 & 2)\n\nPat from RDCS says their annual event is “An opportunity to not only enjoy these mighty and glorious works, but to begin the Christmas season, be part of the Christmas tradition and to hear live choral music in the local community.”\nRuddington and District Choral Society ‘was formed in 1962 as an Evening Class, and has grown and developed since that time to a group of some sixty members who live in the Nottingham area.‘ RDCS usually meet on Monday evenings during school terms, generally from September to May.\n\nDisclaimer: RUDDINGTON.info publishes all diary events in good faith and can’t be held responsible for any changes or cancellations of the activity.
