SUMMARY:Autumn Miniature Traction Engine Rally
DESCRIPTION:This weekend event will be hosted at the Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre (NTCH) and everyone’s welcome to the Miniature Traction Engine Rally on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th September.\n\nOrganisers say: ” Our Heritage Cafe will be open both days as will the Nottingham Area Bus Society garage. Sunday will see the miniature railway in operation giving rides for a small fee and the Ruddington Model Railway Club will be open to view their many different layouts. Free to enter but we do kindle request a £2.00 donation to park.”\n\nNTHC is one of Ruddington’s family visitor attractions from going on a miniature train ride to looking around the various heritage groups on-site.\nThe Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre in Ruddington\nIt’s a great place for a family day out because as well as Nottingham SMEE you’ll find “Nottingham Heritage Railway, Nottingham Area Bus Society (NABS), Ruddington MRC, EMRT, Barnwrights & more.”\nAlso there’s The Heritage Cafe serving hot meals, snacks and drinks. It’s usually open at the weekends from 10am to 4pm (and also on Wednesdays).\nPlease note: You are advised to check NTCH events for details and cafe opening times, as activities may be subject to change (for example due to volunteers and/or the weather).
