SUMMARY:Miniature Traction Engine Rally
DESCRIPTION:This weekend event will be hosted by the Nottingham Society of Model and Experimental Engineers (NSMEE) at the Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre (NTCH) on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th September.\n\nNottingham Heritage Railway say the Rally is “one for everyone with an interest in Traction Engines. A two-day event featuring Miniature Traction Engines, all of which will be in steam at some point over the weekend.” \nPlease note: These events do not include a rail service.  Contact the NHR for details and timings.\n\nNTHC is one of Ruddington’s family visitor attractions from going on a miniature train ride to looking around the various heritage groups on-site.\nIt’s a great place for a family day out because as well as Nottingham SMEE you’ll find “Nottingham Heritage Railway, Nottingham Area Bus Society (NABS), Ruddington MRC, EMRT, Barnwrights & more.”\nAlso there’s The Heritage Cafe serving hot meals, snacks and drinks. It’s usually open at the weekends from 10am to 4pm (and also on Wednesdays).\nPlease note: You are advised to check NTCH events for details and cafe opening times, as activities may be subject to change (for example due to volunteers and/or the weather).
