Strike Action Closes Ruddington School

The failure of last minute talks yesterday between the Government and the National Education Union (NEU) to try avert this week’s strike action over teachers’ pay means most pupils at one of our Ruddington schools won’t be in class tomorrow (Wednesday 1st February). Projected staff availability means we need to temporarily prioritise places, we have been asked to give priority to…

Further Navy 3 Timetable Changes

Just four months’ ago the axing of CT4N’s number 22 and 23 Ruddington services had the knock-on effect of Nottingham City Transport (NCT) re-routing some of its daytime Navy 3 buses away from our village. This was to maintain an hourly direct bus link from 8.30am to 3.30pm to the City Centre, Trent Bridge and Clifton Centre for the residents of Wilford Village and Silverdale (as service Navy 3A). It also meant that, between approximately 9.30am and 3.30pm on Mondays to Saturdays, Navy 3 buses began operating via Ruddington to Clifton only once an…
