Easter in Ruddington

Whilst this week’s further easing of Coronavirus restrictions doesn’t yet allow for the reopening of Ruddington’s hospitality venues – or even non-essential retailers – it does mean the true meaning of Easter can be celebrated ‘face to face’ (albeit ‘socially distanced’) at our village churches this year. Saturday April 3rd sees the return of our much loved Ruddington Village Market on The Green. After a three month hiatus, the market is back on Easter Saturday with 40 essential traders selling food and drinks in line with current lockdown guidelines. Wendy’s Walkers’ Mighty Hike for Charity

Staff from a Ruddington pharmacy are prescribing themselves fresh air and exercise this summer as they fundraise for a leading cancer charity. N.B. This walk has now been postponed due to continuing Coronavirus restrictions and will be rescheduled for July 2022.
