A woman had to be attended by ambulance staff following a blaze at her home in Ruddington this afternoon. Crews from Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service and East Midlands Ambulance Service were called to the property on Leys Road at just before 3pm after a fire was reported in one of the flats. Appliances from West Bridgford, Highfields and London Road rushed to the scene. It was just over two years’ ago when RUDDINGTON.info reported plans to build a four-storey car park at Ruddington Fields Business Park. After a slight redesign during the planning approval process, it has now been officially opened.
