In light of the Coronavirus pandemic, Ruddington’s main transport provider has put off all planned fare increases indefinitely. However its Navy 3 service has now been suspended whilst the frequency of its Green 10 buses to and from our village has been reduced. Nottingham City Transport says ‘unprecedented times’ – when buses should now only be used for ‘essential’ travel – prompted it to postpone the rise in fares which should have taken effect from 29th March 2020.
