In the fight against COVID-19, with cases of Coronavirus rapidly increasing, and England’s death toll tragically rising to 167 today, it was inevitable that this country would soon need to fall in line with many others around the world by enforcing even tighter restrictions on our everyday lives. Bus Fare Rises Postponed

Ruddington’s main transport provider has announced that it’s putting off all planned fare increases this spring. However service levels on its Navy 3 or Green 10 buses to and from our village will soon have to be reduced in light of the Coronavirus pandemic. Nottingham City Transport says ‘unprecedented times’ have prompted it to postpone the rise in fares which should have taken effect from 29th March 2020.
