It’s been revealed that dozens of elderly residents at a village care home will have to wait a little longer to be immunised against COVID-19 because of an outbreak of the virus there. A popular Ruddington pub has shut temporarily after a member of its staff tested positive for COVID-19 this morning (Sunday 11th October). A statement has been issued by The Victoria Tavern, on Wilford Road, which says: “We have, therefore, decided to close today in order to take an opportunity to deep clean all areas. Ruddington Play Area Closed by Coronavirus

Rushcliffe Borough Council has has now sealed off the play area at Rushcliffe Country Park until further notice. Rushcliffe 10k and Fun Run

This year’s Rushcliffe 10k and Fun Run is back at Rushcliffe Country Park– after a 4-year absence due to the Coronavirus pandemic – on Sunday March 26th.
